Image
Some of the profit that Afar magazine earns goes straight to a non-profit foundation that provides scholarships for educational journeys for students. Afar produces 6-7 magazines a year. Currently, Afar Magazine can only be shipped within the US. A customer can pay $24 for 6 issues. In Canada, it is $30 for 6 issues. Outside of Canada and the US it is $40 an issue. Afar is  available through Zino on your PC, iPad, Mac, Android and iPhone and more. You can order a magazine through Zino. Subscriptions can be cancelled online. If a magazine delivers and it is damaged, they can send you a new magazine. Afar is sold on newsstands in the US and Canada. It can be found in airports, bookstores, supermarkets and specialty stores. Barnes & Noble and Publix are both great local place to find an Afar Magazine.

3rd Quarter Submission/3rd revision

Image
For my third revision, I wrote more information for my articles, and added another picture to fill up more space and to make it look more visually appealing. I made my table of contents less wordy and more visually appealing by making the font bigger, and adding another photo. I made my cover photo into a picture of downtown Paris to stay withing the area of traveling in Europe.I really like the way my magazine turned out. It is very informational, but descriptive and interesting to read at the same time. I think that any teen who likes traveling would like to read my magazine.

Revision #2

Image
I decided to change my cover photo to a picture I took of downtown Paris. I thing it will make more sense with my articles because they are all three in the same area. I liked how everything else looked on the front cover so I decided to keep it the same as before.  On my table of contents, I minimized the amount of words I used so that is is easier for the reader to look at. I also added another photo of a picture of Louis Vuitton perfume to be an idea of what my ads are going to be like. I also added page numbers to this page. I took all of these photos myself.
