CCR question 4

Technology was very important to the making of my magazine. For example, I was only taking photos with an Iphone xs, not an actual camera, so I had to take advantage of whatever editing the phone had for me to use. I used a lot of light enhancing to make my photographs look brighter. I also used a color enhancing setting that mad the scene look more colorful. All of these skills helped make my magazine look more professional. While actually assembling the magazine, I had to learn how to use the App In Design where I could crop my photos around my articles. I did this by emailing myself the photos I wished to use, then I opened gmail onto the computer I was using and downloaded the photographs onto the computer where they were then copied and pasted onto the In Design app. This app is where I made final changes to help fit the photo into the space that was given. I had to learn my way around to app in order to figure out the placement of my photos that would look best in my magazin...

CCR question 3

My production skills improved greatly during the process of creating my magazine. When I took the photos for that I used for the magazine, I was on a trip exploring places like Brugges and France. I had to take very high quality pictures in order for them to look good on a magazine page. This meant that i worked with camera angles, backgrounds, and camera lighting.  I took all of my pictures with the Iphone xs which has very good camera quality, but to make it better, I had to position my model (my sister) specifically so her face was in the light, and there were no weird shadows on her face. The lighting made all the difference. The photos have no filters over them.  I worked with camera angles to capture my magazine front page photo especially. In order to accumulate the entire view into one photo, I had to hold the phone very straight so I could capture an eye-level photograph. I also used a low angle photograph looking up to the Eiffel Tower. This helped show how ...

CCR Question #1 Draft

My product represents a social group that would be able to pay for an expensive trip that is shown in my magazine about travel in Europe. This would include teens who live in a more wealthy family that can afford going on expensive trips.  The front cover reveals an establishing shot of a bridge going over a large body of water in Paris, France. I took this photo to capture the setting of the city I was in. On the front cover, I also decided to use a bold font with some highlights and shadows in order to create depth and make the title look more interesting. This can help to capture my audiences attention. I also used contrasting black writing below to describe some articles that may be in the rest of the magazine.

CCR Question #2 Draft

My product engages with audiences by using interesting photos and descriptions that would make any teen want to travel to the places in the magazine. The descriptions about the photos I use are in depth and offer a lot of detail to them. I have learned from my audience engagement research that teens are interested in looking at a lot of eye-catching pictures. Then, if they are interested in the pictures, they will proceed to read about them. I had to make my pictures in my magazine as bold and eye-catching as possible so that any teen would want to read it just by looking at the front cover. My marketing plan would be to sell my magazine at places that teens normally like to go to, so they will be more-likely to see it. For example, these magazines could be sold inside malls, at a movie theater, at a stand at the beach, and even at airports. My magazine is about travel so it would make sense for them to be sold at an airport.
